January was a gloomy one, we didn’t have any solid sun in Southern Ontario for 3 weeks. The longest streak in this area for some time. Which would usually mean reading but I was a bit antsy. I ended up reading 6 books, most of them being fantasy. I wanted to mention something new and exciting!Β
I’ve started doing wrap up videos on IGTV (that’s instagram TV) to add a different type of media to talk even more about books. Check out the video here if you’d like to watch me ramble! π
As always click on the cover to read my full review, if I did not review it you’ll find yourself on goodreads instead where you can peruse other reviews.

A great fantasy for YA readers who love a good journey fantasy. Check out A Curse So Dark & Lonely first before you try this one as it is a sequel.

Mindy McGinnis has a way of evoking emotion no matter what the genre is.

One of the most intriguing YA fantasies I’ve read in years. I just loved the world building in this one.

Abby Jimenez writes such great romance. Loved the equal portions of pain and romance in this one.
